Unquenchable sense of excitement at Resorts World Sentosa
The fact that I was going to Resorts World Sentosa for the first time already made me extremely excited to see what it was like.

All the world's a stage: New York Street at Universal Studios at RWS was the place for the most anticipated party of SIWW
However, I had to consistently keep in mind that the point of the trip was to get a good story about water but also to have fun in the process.
Once there, I felt it was truly an excellent place for all the delegates and participants of SIWW to really have an environment where they can network, relax and have fun too. I have to say amidst being the platform for the best of the best in water issues to meet, Singapore really seized the chance to showcase what its got by holding the closing dinner there instead of just at a regular hotel banquet hall.
The group of us who were at Resorts World Sentosa interviewed Professor Robert Glennon – author of the book ‘Unquenchable: America’s water crisis and what to do about it’. He shared with us that in America, water costs less than the entertainment they receive and he implied that it should not be the case as he puts it, “if you don’t value water properly, you won’t care”.
All in all, I think that what I really learnt through the whole SIWW experience is that people should not take water for granted and abuse the resource because it is ultimately not only for drinking but for more things we have in our lives than we can imagine.
