Lucy and I
Sentosa is a beautiful attraction, home to rides, restaurants, and beaches; it’s definitely worth a visit. For only S$3, the Sentosa Express will take you directly to the island. Along with white sand, the beaches have volleyball nets and basketball courts. The Skyride offers a great aerial view of the island, and the Luge offers a chance to zoom down the mountain (while only slightly fearing for your life).
There’s even a free Animal Encounters show for those on a budget. However, I would recommend the faint of heart to not volunteer at this event. As a result of unwittingly raising my hand, I got to meet Lucy, the 25 kilo boa constrictor. I’m so glad I can now add “animal handler” to my resume.
